“… I feel that you have a genuine interest in whether your clients recover. Not only just become sober because many people can do that. But to recover is different; it means to get back that which you have lost. You have helped me do that, greatly…. Every day you gave it your best, every day you made every effort you could to try to make this world a better place. We should all hope to be such a person.”

I received counseling from her over the course of 6 months… I had spent many years in and out of treatment, and I felt I had finally been defeated by my addictions. I had no idea how I would overcome my thoughts, and my behaviors that seemed to land me right back into the throes of my addiction. Much of the counseling with Shannon started out simple and began building complexity. By the time I finished a course with Shannon I very much missed our counseling sessions. I completed several exercises that had a deep impact on much of my behaviors, challenged my thoughts, and helped me overcome my addiction ultimately. Shannon, to me, was unique in that she understood where I was coming from based on her own personal experiences. She wasn't just another therapist that I felt judged by, it wasn't just another person… that condemned me, it wasn't one more person that had no idea what I was going through, despite having a degree that said they did. She was, at last, the real deal. If you struggle with addiction like I struggle with addiction you know that there is no cure. You may also know that there is help; and that recovery is possible. If you're shopping for someone to help shine the light on a path that leads to recovery in your life, I am here to say Shannon McNiece is a solid person and absolutely the best counselor that I have run across in 30 years of counseling/ therapy. If you absolutely must have a clean shot at getting your life back, this woman was instrumental in my life. I have not only recovered much of my life prior to my addiction but have also gained a wife, four daughters, and two grandchildren and a very rich life. If you are tired of being passed around the mill of addiction therapy, where the solution always seems to be just out of reach, this woman has made a life of actually helping people.”

Letting go of the inner dilemma and knowing ‘what does my ideal self feel and looks like’ makes my action plan desirable. I discovered my reason for going forward. For me it means actually enjoying my life and my business, compared to pushing myself - that made me stuck. I am forever grateful for an amazing example of what intimate deep work can be. A session with you inspired excitement behind my work as a healer and a coach as well. Thank you!
